“There is growing interest among hotel owners in the earning power of our brands, and Austin enhances our ability to tell them our story of less fees and more service,” said Doug Collins, chairman of HLS.

HLS, which currently manages a system of 22 Budgetel properties and one Haven Hotel, expects to double its portfolio within six months. The company has one of the industry’s most owner-friendly fees schedules and franchise contracts, including an annual exit opportunity.
