Hotel Equities promotes Chuck Powell to SVP of operations

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities promoted Chuck Powell to the new position of SVP of operations. 

Powell's responsibilities include oversight of operations, human resources and revenue generation efforts for the firm. He works closely with the Hotel Equities' executive team to ensure a consistent approach to implementation, improvement and results. He reports directly to Brad Rahinsky, Hotel Equities’ president and COO. 

“Chuck’s strategic approach is to elevate our organization’s processes and procedures in all disciplines, including food and beverage," Rahinsky said. “He has made a significant and measurable impact on our firm. He models and inspires success with his team across multiple brands to deliver memorable hospitality to our guests and works effectively with our investors.”

Powell joined Hotel Equities from Noble Investment Group/Interstate Hotels where he served as VP of operations over a full service portfolio. A GM during the early days of his career, he also held positions in hotel sales and marketing before moving into executive positions with both Embassy Suites and Hilton Hotels. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to his current post.
 
 Powell holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Paul Smith University. He currently resides in Atlanta.
