The Annual Hotel Conference is October 11 and 12, 2018, at the Hilton Deansgate, in Manchester, UK.

The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC) is, as its name suggests, a yearly gathering of the UK hospitality industry, where discussion focuses on the state of hotels and the issues impacting their performance.

This year's conference, at the Hilton Deansgate, in Manchester, encompassed many thorny issues, not the least being Brexit and the overall affect it's poised to have on the hospitality industry once it actually does happen (scheduled for March 2019). We asked some of the UK's most knowledgable hoteliers and consultants about that very issue, along with key trends, including online distribution and lending toward hotels, other challenges and opportunities the UK hospitality industry space and its prospects for 2018, in this video interview series.

We also hear from Chris Penn, the co-founder of Steel Hotels, on his brand concept and innovation within the hospitality space.
