The Hotel Group has added the upcoming 177-room Hilton Garden Inn Redmond (Wash.), scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020, to its management portfolio. The property—owned by Kauri Investments and Washington Holdings—marks the hotel management and investment company’s seventh Hilton-branded location in the Pacific Northwest.
“The Hilton Garden Inn Redmond will be THG’s 50th new-build in our 35 years of business,” Douglas Dreher, president/CEO of The Hotel Group, said in a statement. “We are excited to be a part of the thriving city of Redmond, home to Microsoft and many other tech companies, plus a multitude of outdoor and recreational activities.”
The six-story hotel will feature more than 2,400 square feet of meeting space and an onsite restaurant. It will be located in the heart of Redmond, near the more than 600-acre Marymoor Park and within driving distance of downtown Seattle.
Since it began in 1984, The Hotel Group has managed and/or owned more than 125 properties in 25 states. Through its Hotel Group Opportunity Funds, the company has completed the acquisition of nearly $200 million in private investment.
