The Hotel Group plans to add an upcoming Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in Wenatchee, Wash., to its management portfolio. The 127-suite property, a co-investment project between THG and the hotel’s owner and developer, Stream Real Estate of Seattle, has broken ground and is scheduled to open in Q4 this year.
The hotel will feature a heated pool, a full-service bar, a fitness facility, 1,400 square feet of meeting space and an outdoor area with soft seating, grills and a fire pit. Each of the hotel’s suites will include a fully equipped kitchen and a window-facing workspace.
The Residence Inn Wenatchee will provide views of the Cascade Mountains and Columbia River and offer access to mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, fly fishing and hiking. The property is located near Mission Ridge Ski Resort, Lake Chelan and Leavenworth Bavarian Village.
Since its inception in 1984, THG has managed and/or owned more than 130 properties, directed the decision and construction of more than 50 new hotels and completed the acquisition of nearly $200 million in private investment through The Hotel Group Opportunity Funds.
