HREC arranges sale of Microtel in Appleton, Wis.

HREC Investment Advisors is arranged the sale of the 79-guestroom, Microtel Inn & Suites Hotel located in Appleton, Wis., on behalf of owners, Inditel Property Management. The buyer was Rajshyamaji of Wisconsin.

“Microtel continues to be a leader in the economy-scale segment and this prototypical hotel exemplifies the brands’ consistency throughout the system. As such the Microtel Appleton provides this Wisconsin-based group the opportunity for operational upside, as the hotel – once renovated, will be in a position to better capitalize on the rich corporate, leisure and retail business that Appleton and the Fox Valley Region has to offer,” said Ted Anka, who assisted in the transaction.

Appleton is the county seat of Outagamie County, located along the Fox River. It is approximately 30 miles from Green Bay and 100 miles from both Milwaukee and Madison. Visitors to Appleton can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities such as the Butterfly Garden, 1000 Islands Environment Center and Carter Woods Park.
