HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of the 257-room Valley River Inn in Eugene, Ore., on behalf of a private equity opportunity fund.
Michael Blahosky (SVP – Southfield), Scott Kaniewski (SVP – Chicago) and Geoff Davis (president & senior principal – Denver), exclusively represented the seller during the transaction. The buyer is a joint venture of Rockbridge Capital and Davidson Hotels.
The hotel is situated on the Willamette River next to Interstate 105. Interstate 105 provides direct access to downtown Eugene and also links into Interstate 5, which provides direct access north to Portland. Other sources of immediate demand include the Valley River Center Mall, which is located directly adjacent, within walking distance, to the property. Other major area demand includes the University of Oregon, located roughly two miles from the hotel.
