The Marriott hotel at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, N.C., will undergo an $11-million facelift as it comes under new management.

The airport is negotiating a lease with Atlanta-based Hospitality Ventures Management Group, which would operate the 299-room Greensboro-High Point Airport Marriott. The 31-year-old hotel would still bear the Marriott name.

Hospitality Ventures would spend millions on projects such as renovating guestrooms and upgrading the building's exterior. A nearly $6-million renovation of the hotel was completed in 2012.
