IHG opens new Holiday Inn in Chandigarh, India

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened Holiday Inn in Chandigarh. This is the group's tenth Holiday Inn hotel in India and first hotel in Chandigarh. The hotel is located on the Kalka-Shimla highway, providing access to a number of tourist attractions as well as commercial hubs. The hotel has eight meeting rooms.

Holiday Inn is one of the fastest growing hotel brands in the world, with 87 hotels and 20,100 rooms open across the Asia, Middle-East and Africa (AMEA) region and a further 50 properties in the company's development pipeline in AMEA. Globally there are almost 1,200 Holiday Inn properties open and 267 properties due to open within the next three to five years. InterContinental Hotels Group PLC is the Group’s holding company and is incorporated in Great Britain and registered in England and Wales.
