IHG signs three new Holiday Inn Express hotels in the UK

Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) signed three Holiday Inn Express hotels in the UK with the Holiday Inn Express London – Vauxhall Nine Elms, Holiday Inn Express Leigh – Sports Village and Holiday Inn Express Wigan in Greater Manchester.

The Holiday Inn Express London – Vauxhall Nine Elms will open later this year and will operate under a franchise agreement with first time IHG owner Heathdeal. The property will be rebranded from an existing hotel into a Holiday Inn Express.

The 135-room Holiday Inn Express Leigh – Sports Village will open this summer operating under a franchise agreement with KS Hotels. The hotel will have six meeting rooms, a bar, lounge and dining area, as well as a car park.

The 87-room Holiday Inn Express Wigan will open in 205, and will be operated under a franchise agreement with Viking Bear.

The survey is open to all companies that third-party-manage hotels for owners other than themselves.

Led by industry veteran Gary A. DeLapp, it plans to launch 12 newly constructed hotels in 2020 and an additional 30 locations in 2021.
