Joplin Hotel in Missouri begins $6M DoubleTree conversion

The Joplin Hotel began a $6-million renovation to convert the property to a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Conor Acquisitions Group, the owner of the hotel, plans to reconfigure the guestrooms, meeting space and public areas of the five-story hotel building on East Hammons Boulevard in central Joplin, Mo. The hotel is expected to open in late April 2016.

In June 2015, Conor tapped Atlanta-based Hotel Equities, their management partner, to manage the hotel.
