Loews names new GMs for California, Louisiana hotels

Loews Hotels & Co has made some new appointments at the hotel level. Patrick Barrett is the new general manager at the Loews New Orleans Hotel, Younes Atallah is GM for the Loews Santa Monica (Calif.) Beach Hotel and Reggie Dominique is managing director at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.
 
“At a time where the hospitality industry has seen a tremendous amount of uncertainty, due to the global pandemic, we at Loews Hotels & Co are thrilled to have three seasoned leaders join the team, overseeing our hotels in Hollywood, New Orleans and Santa Monica,” said John Cottrill, COO, Loews Hotels & Co. “We welcome Reggie, Patrick and Younes to the Loews family and look forward to leveraging their expertise and skill sets not only with their respective hotels but also throughout the organization.”

Los Angeles

Reggie Dominique
Reggie Dominique

Reggie Dominique’s 25 years of hospitality experience includes a leadership background in hotel operations and sales, having spent the majority of his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. Dominique began his hospitality career in sales and marketing, starting as a group sales manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey. He then served as the director of sales & marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach and The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco before moving into operational leadership roles. Most recently, Dominique was hotel manager for the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live, where he led the team in raising employee satisfaction scores and increasing overall operational efficiency and revenues.
 
At Loews Hollywood Hotel, Dominique will oversee all operations for the 628-guestroom hotel, including its three dining venues and 76,000 square feet of conference facilities. 

New Orleans

Patrick Barrett

Patrick Barrett is a 25-year hospitality veteran and a native New Orleanian, whose career spans across Hilton, Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Choice Hotels International and independent hotel companies. Barrett has experience in all phases of hotel operations from concept and development to operational execution and long-term planning. 
 
Most recently, Barrett was area managing director for Fillmore Hospitality. He earned a degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Santa Monica

Younes Atallah

Younes Atallah has more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. He began his hospitality career in the rooms division as an assistant manager at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. Most recently, he served as hotel manager for the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort and has a background as an operator, leading some of the brands’ most recognized hotels. 
 
At Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Atallah will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of the 347-guestroom hotel, as well as its dining venues and its 30,000 square feet of indoor outdoor event space. He is fluent in both English and Arabic and has a working knowledge of French.
