M&R Hotel Management to manage Mass. Holiday Inn Express

M&R Hotel Management was awarded a contract to operate the 103-room Holiday Inn Express Braintree in the Boston suburb of Braintree, Mass. The hotel is the 13th hotel in its portfolio and third added this year.

The select-service hotel is owned by Norfolk Hospitality of Braintree, and has king, double and single rooms and suites with complimentary Internet service, coffee and tea makers, microwave ovens, mini-refrigerators, premium cable TV channels, desks, speakerphones with voice mail and free local calls and hairdryers.

Additional complimentary amenities include 24-hour fitness and business centers, Express Start Breakfast Bar, on-site parking, bottled water, daily newspaper and shuttle service to local transit connections and nearby attractions within a five-mile radius of the hotel. The hotel also offers a self-service guest laundry and ATM.

Based in Great Neck, New York, M&R Hotel Management operates 11 hotels in the New York market, including five in Queens, three in Manhattan and three in Staten Island. The company also operates the Alegria resort on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten.

M&R’s portfolio includes the brands of InterContinental Hotels Group, Choice Hotels International, Wyndham Hotel Group and Best Western International. In addition, Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide have certified M&R to manage selected brands.
