Magnuson Hotels rebranded three hotels from Pensacola, Fla.

All formerly franchised by Wyndham, the hotels have rebranded as the Magnuson Inn Pensacola, Magnuson Hotel Pensacola and M-Star Pensacola. The hotels are part of the LHS portfolio, owned by Asian American hotel owners Jay and Nash Patel.

Jay Patel  is a leading expert in the Hospitality Franchise Industry and is the author of Franchising is it Fair and How to Negotiate an Equitable Franchised Agreement. He has been an active member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and co-founded the National Association Of Black Hotel Owners, Operator and Developers (NABHOOD).

During his tenure as Chairman, Nash focussed on helping improve franchisee/franchisor relations as well as hotel industry environmental and social responsibilities. With more than 12,000 members owning over 20,000 hotels totalling $128 billion in property value, AAHOA is the largest owner bloc in the global hospitality industry.
