Magnuson rebrands 400th Best Western property

Magnuson Hotels converted its 400th Best Western hotel with the Magnuson Hotel and Suites Alamogordo, located in Alamogordo, N.M.

Formerly the Best Western Desert Aire, the 92-room hotel upgraded its brand presence to increase exposure via Magnuson Hotels' portfolio of nearly 2,000 hotels.

Driving the growth of Best Western conversions to the Magnuson brand is Magnuson’s recent certification to the US Franchise Registry, the national listing of brands approved by the US Small Business Administration (SBA). Hotel brands approved by the SBA and its guarantee allow hotel owners and developers faster track funding from local and regional banks.

The Alamogordo, N.M., hotel is close to the New Mexico Museum of Space History, White Sands National Monument, the White Sands Missile Range and the Trinity Site.
