Mainsail makes 2 executive appointments

Mainsail Lodging & Development named Jill Lemaster its first chief financial officer and Tom Stoffo director of technology. The Tampa, Fla.-based hospitality company develops and operates lifestyle hotels and corporate furnished housing in the southeastern United States and the Caribbean.

“We’re happy to welcome Jill and Tom as two great additions to the Mainsail team,” Joe Collier, president of Mainsail, said in a statement. “With Jill’s extensive experience in the hotel industry and finance and Tom’s experience in hotels and technology, the two will complement our existing team and help ensure continued growth for our company.”

As CFO, Lemaster will oversee finance, project accounting and hotel operational accounting and work closely with Mainsail’s senior leadership and stakeholders to identify additional opportunities to grow the company’s core domestic business. Most recently senior director of development finance at Hilton Grand Vacations, she has also served as VP of finance, hotels and casinos at Hard Rock International.

Stoffo joined Mainsail after 13 years in hospitality technology. Stoffo previously led technology departments at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Davidson Hotels & Resorts, as well as Mainsail.

Mainsail operates four Autograph Collection hotels and exclusively manages properties in the Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee markets for Oakwood. It also operates a portfolio of private vacation homes through its Mainsail Vacation Rentals brand and is a partner of Home & Villas by Marriott International.
