The Malmaison hotel in Dundee, Scotland, opened its doors after months of setbacks. Malmaison held its official launch on Monday approximately two months after its original scheduled opening.
Flooding put a halt to preparations to open the renovated building in December. The former Tay Hotel building dates back to 1889. Renovation work started in the spring of 2012 and the B-listed building has been transformed at a cost of $25 million.
