The Mondrian Doha to open in Qatar early 2015

Morgans Hotel Group will make its Middle East debut in Qatar with the opening of the 270-room Mondrian Doha early next year.

The Mondrian Doha will be shaped like a falcon and located next to Lagoona Mall in the West Bay area of Doha. According to the hotel's GM, Ray McShane, the hotel will compete with the W Doha as the second boutique lifestyle hotel in the city.

The interior designer of the Mondrian Doha will be Dutch designer Marcel Wanders who designed Morgan’s property Delano South Beach in Miami, which McShane said the Mondrian Doha will resemble.
