New Hyatt Place opens in Snyder, N.Y.

Buffalo, N.Y., is opening its first Hyatt Place Hotel.

The 138-room Hyatt Place, located on Main Street in Snyder, was built by Iskalo Development Co. The hotel is part of a $30-million hospitality complex that the Amherst-based firm is creating around the former Lord Amherst property. Besides developing the Hyatt Place, Iskalo is renovating the now-closed Lord Amherst into a 90-room boutique hotel that’s expected to open next year.
