New Top of the World Hotel to open in Barrow, Alaska

The 70-room Top of the World Hotel is set to open in Barrow, Alaska. The new hotel replaces a hotel that suffered smoke damage when the adjacent restaurant, Pepe's North of the Border, burned down last Labor Day weekend. Officials say the old hotel will not reopen.

The new hotel is located next to the post office. Rooms will have Wi-Fi and cable. It also will have three conference rooms and a fitness area.
