New York's Aliz Hotel names first GM

Aliz Group, the host company of experimental independent lifestyle hotel brand Aliz Hotels, appointed the new management team who will oversee day-to-day operations at the group’s flagship property, Aliz Hotel Times Square, which is managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts.

Managed by 25-year hospitality veteran Nicole Hendrix and Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Aliz Hotel Times Square will debut this fall in New York City.

Joining as GM for the property, Hendrix will be an integral part of the Aliz management team. Hendrix has an understanding of core hospitality standards while elevating and accomplishing brand goals. Having advanced her career contributing to different hospitality leaders such as Kimpton Hotels, Marriott and Hilton, Hendrix will bring a new perspective to this new modern lifestyle property.

“We are confident Nicole’s management and operational expertise will be a great asset to Aliz,” Michael Sullivan, spokesperson for Aliz Group, said in a statement.

The Aliz Hotel Times Square will include 287 guestrooms, a two-story rooftop bar and lounge, stylish restaurant and lounge spaces and luxury amenities, all within walking distance to Times Square, Hudson Yards and the Jacob Javits Center.

Aliz Hotel Times Square is owned by Aliz Group, a privately owned and operated property management, acquisition and development company headquartered in New York City. Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Aliz Hotel Times Square is also a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
