Real Hospitality Group appointed Sanjay Bedi and Ron Loman SVPs of operations. The two industry veterans both bring decades of experience to their new roles at the Ocean City, Md.-based hotel management company.

Bedi’s promotion comes after more than six years with Real, including most recently as regional VP of operations. In his new role, Bedi will continue to manage key owner relations across the company’s portfolio, as well as some of its most high-profile assets in New York City. Before joining the operator, he held roles with Hospitality Talent Scouts and Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Real has tasked Loman with further improving the alignment and communication of its growing regional operations team in its Ocean City and Florida offices. He will also be responsible for implementing strategies and practices to improve the guest experience, operational efficiency and profitability across the company’s portfolio. Loman, who worked for Real Hospitality Group in the past, has held leadership roles in sales and marketing and asset management at Widewaters Hotels and SLS Lodging Advisors in the time since.

"As we continue to expand across the United States and maintain our 'best in class' reputation, it is important that we also develop our people,” Ben Seidel, president/CEO of Real Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “Providing opportunity for leadership growth is paramount to our success and I am thrilled to have both Sanjay and Ron take this important step in their careers.”

Real Hospitality Group’s portfolio includes more than 100 open or in development hotels.
