Red Lion opens second Seattle hotel in two months

Red Lion Hotel Corporation opened a second new franchise location in the Seattle market in two months, with the Red Lion Inn & Suites Federal Way.

The hotel has 90 guestrooms, a conference room and laundry facilities, and offers a hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is 15 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and a short drive to the Federal Way National Little League Complex, the Weyerhaeuser/King County Aquatic Center, Celebration Park Sports Complex and Wild Waves Theme Park. The hotel is also near to the Puget Sound and Dash Point State Park.

“We are planning to invest $2 million in upgrades to the guest rooms and public space on this property, which will include a new indoor pool with a double waterslide,” said Paul Sandhu of NW Hospitality. “Red Lion Inn & Suites has been a great brand for our properties. We enjoy working with the team and find they offer the right support for our hotels.”
