RLHC signs Kissimmee, Fla., hotel

RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) will open a 516-room Red Lion Hotel in Kissimmee, Fla., located near the Walt Disney World Resort, after signing a franchise license agreement with the owners of a resort and spa there.

“Given the success RLHC has had with its Anaheim Red Lion Hotel, we believe our Orlando property will be the perfect East Coast counterpart for guests,” said Jeff Carter of Carter Hospitality Group, whose affiliate owns the property. “We are excited to rebrand to the Red Lion name in time to meet holiday demand.”
