Sheraton Grand Chicago is situated on the Chicago River with 1,218 guestrooms and suites with views of either the Chicago River, Lake Michigan, or city skyline. The hotel has five restaurants and bars; a fitness center with a pool and sauna; and Chicago’s largest hotel ballroom at 40,000 square feet.

The Sheraton Grand tier was developed by Starwood to "recognize exceptional Sheraton hotels and resorts for their enticing destinations, distinguished designs, and excellence in service and guest experiences." Starwood is planning to designate 50 of its properties as Sheraton Grand hotels by the end of the year, and 100 by early 2017.
