Songy Highroads opens Houston Hyatt Place

Atlanta-based Songy Highroads opened the Hyatt Place Houston Galleria, a new 157-room, select-service hotel located across from the Galleria shopping center.

The 12-story hotel is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality. It has three floors of common space and 10 guestroom floors with both suites and standard rooms. Onsite amenities include a swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, meeting space, business center, 24/7 dining options, a market and a lobby coffee shop and bar.

Songy Highroads began development of the Hyatt Place Houston Galleria in August 2014 and also developed and owns the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria, a 325-room, full-service hotel located adjacent to the Hyatt Place that opened in October 2015. The two hotels are part of a 7.6-acre mixed-use development that also contains two office towers along with high-end retail.
