SpringHill Suites opens San Diego hotel

The 149-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Oceanside, California is oficially open for business. The SpringHill Suites San Diego Oceanside/Downtown will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by GF Properties Group and managed by Sage Hospitality of Denver, Colo.

The hotel offers guests access to Camp Pendleton, Oceanside Pier, Mission San Luis Rey and LegolandÒ California. The hotel’s lobby was designed using earth tones such as warm colors, accent fabrics and walnut-stained wood. The hotel also offers business services, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. In the lobby, the Market offers 24/7 access to food and beverages.

Daily complimentary hot breakfast is also available. The property also has 2,235 square feet of meeting space to accommodate meetings and functions of up to 120 people.

It is the newest SpringHill Suites to join the portfolio of Marriott properties that are designed to LEED standards, a voluntary rating program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council that provides third-party verification of green building.
