Starwood appoints Jean-Marc Janod to VP of operations for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean

Starwood Hotels and Resorts named a new VP of operations for the Mexico, Central America and Caribbean region.

The new appointment is Jean-Marc Janod, who has been with the company for more than two decades. He was most recently the GM of the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel. Janod succeeds Batya Brykman in the role, who will retire at the end of next month.

Janod’s appointment was announced alongside the creation of a new role, VP of operations for South America, a position filled by Ricardo Calo.
