Starwood Hotels & Resorts opens Georgia Aloft hotel

A contemporary hotel brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts opened its first location in Georgia.

The 254-room Aloft Atlanta Downtown launched after a major renovation. It was previously the Days Inn Atlanta Downtown.

DeBartolo Development bought the property in 2012 and spent approximately $25 million to renovate and rebrand it. Banyan Investment Group is managing the hotel.
