Starwood opens Element hotel in Doral, Fla.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide opened its Element brand in Doral, Fla., minutes from downtown Miami. Element Miami Doral joins Aloft Miami Doral as part of a dual-branded Starwood hotel development owned by Eurocon. The new Element hotel has 139 rooms, is the brand’s second hotel in the greater Miami area and one of eight new Element hotels slated to open worldwide by the end of 2015.

The eco-conscious and pet-friendly hotel offers studios as well as one bedroom suites with a fluid design of modular furniture, swiveling flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving and custom-designed closets. Rooms will also offer fully equipped kitchens, the Heavenly Bed, and spa-inspired bathrooms with a rain shower and dual-flush toilet. The property also offers bikes to borrow, a 24-hour fitness center and the outdoor pool at the adjacent Aloft hotel. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

Element Miami Doral is located near the Dolphin Mall, International Mall and the Miami Free Zone. Guests are within reach of the Port of Miami, Miami Children’s Museum, South Beach, and all the restaurants and nightclubs downtown Miami has to offer.
