Virginia Holiday Inn to switch flags to Fairfield

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, an owner and operator of full-service, select-service and extended-stay hotels, closed the 108-room Holiday Inn Express Reston Herndon – Dulles Airport in Virginia as it undergoes renovations in preparation for its conversion to a Fairfield Inn & Suites. The renovations will include all guestrooms and bathrooms, as well as the hotel’s public spaces.

“We are excited to add the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand to our portfolio of hotels,” said Mark Carrier, president, B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group. “The renovation and conversion of this ideally located hotel creates an exciting and stylish destination for travelers.”

Located at 485 Elden Street in Herndon, Va., the hotel is 6 miles from the Dulles International Airport and offers access to the Reston Town Center, Wolf Trap National Park, the Udvar-Hazy Center and historic downtown Herndon. The property is also close to the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station and numerous corporate offices in the Dulles Tech Corridor.

After the renovations, the four-story Fairfield Inn & Suites will include the brand’s new design and décor. The newly revamped and expanded lobby will offer guests new connectivity options, as well as a “connect and print” area that offers both standing and seated Internet stations. Guests can also unwind in the lobby’s living area or they can grab a drink or snack item from the 24/7 Corner Market.

Each guestroom will be equipped with a 43-inch, HD TV and plush bedding. A curved, mobile desk and ergonometric chair will enable guests to create their own work space while also optimizing their television viewing.

Additional hotel amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, a fitness center, valet laundry service and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services.
