The Westin Crystal City opens in Arlington, Va.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide's Westin brand opened its third hotel in Arlington, Va. The Westin Crystal City has 220 guestrooms, 16,000 square feet of meeting space and 11 meeting rooms. The former Sheraton hotel is owned and managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, and recently underwent a $20-million renovation.

The property is located near the Crystal City Metro station, the Crystal City Shops, the National Mall monuments, The White House, the Smithsonian Museums and Georgetown.

The hotel also renovated its Nutrio Restaurant and Bar, located adjacent to the redesigned lobby. Additional facilities include a WestinWORKOUT studio and a 24-hour business center.
