Westin opens first Egypt property with the Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will introduce the Westin brand to Egypt with the opening of The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes early next year. Owned by New Cairo for Real Estate Investment Company SAE, the 128-room resort will be ideally located within the Katameya Dunes development, a 5.9-million-square-foot luxury residential compound in the New Cairo City District.

The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa Katameya Dunes will be located within a residential community with a 27-hole championship golf course designed by Nick Faldo & Brian Curley of Texas, and will be the development’s flagship resort.

The Westin Cairo will have 127 guestrooms and one presidential suite, all with the Westin Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Bath, Heavenly Shower, Heavenly Robe and exclusive White Tea Aloe bath amenities. The Westin Cairo Hotel & Spa will also offer four dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a café, a bar and a lounge. The hotel will also have a ballroom, The Heavenly Spa by Westin, the Nick Faldo & Brian Curley designed golf course, a pool, fitness center and a 24-hour business center.
