AJ Capital Partners acquires Nebraska Holiday Inn

AJ Capital Partners acquired The Holiday Inn Lincoln-Downtown in Lincoln, Neb. The 16-story, 231-room full-service hotel is located on 9th Street, the main artery into Downtown Lincoln. The hotel has over 12,000 square feet of event and meeting space, a fitness center, indoor pool and The Red Onion - the hotel’s restaurant and bar.

”We are thrilled about the acquisition of The Holiday Inn Lincoln-Downtown,” says Tim Franzen, Executive Vice President at AJ Capital Partners. “Lincoln is a dynamic market with numerous diverse demand drivers – the University, the Capitol, the new arena and the Haymarket District, just to name a few.  This acquisition is in furtherance of our strategy to invest in strong, growing university-anchored markets across the country.”

The Hotel will continue to be managed by Vancouver, Washington-based Vesta Hospitality. Vesta Hospitality is one the nation’s leading privately-owned management and development firms with properties located in the United States and Canada.
