BMC Investments, Sage Hospitality to build $70M Denver hotel

BMC Investments and Sage Hospitality began construction on a $70 million Cherry Creek hotel that will bring a new restaurant brand to Denver.

The 155-room hotel is being built on the site of the former Post Office at 245 Columbine St.

Sage Restaurant Group, an affiliate of the hotel company, will operate Departure Restaurant at the hotel. It marks the second location for the Asian-themed Departure; the first is in The Nines hotel in Portland, Ore.
