Club Med has announced its second resort in Senegal, which is expected to open to the public from 2017.
With 358 rooms and suites totalling 860 beds, the new four-star development will sit on the stretch of coast in Western Africa known as the Petite Côte.
It will sit as a four star resort within the Club Med Trident rating, with integrated five star luxury space.
After opening its doors to public in 2017 the resort will be open year-round, with dedicated clubs for children and teenagers aged four and over.
The announcement comes as the Senegalese government show a growing commitment to building the countries reputation as a tourist destination.
