Darien Hospitality partners with 660 Sherman to develop new hotel in Hamden, Conn.

660 Sherman partnered with the Darien Hospitality Group to develop the luxury hotel project located at 660 Sherman Avenue in Hamden, Conn.

The development is located within walking distance to both of Quinnipiac University’s central campuses and accessible to Hamden businesses and the University Medical Campus. 660 Sherman, along with its new partner, is in advanced stage discussions with a marquee hotel brand and expect to shortly finalize the branding of the new full-service property. With final permits expected to be obtained shortly from the Town, construction is slated to commence as early as this spring.

The hotel, which is designed to accommodate visiting students, parents, facility and alumni, sports teams, conferences and more, is expected to open as early as 2015. The property will merge modern facilities with the classic architecture and design synonymous with the Town of Hamden and Quinnipiac University.
