A major renovation begins this fall at the 605-room Denver Marriott Tech Center, set to finish in September 2016. The work will encompass all guest rooms, 50,000 square feet of meeting space and public spaces, according to Meetings & Conventions.

The guestrooms will be populated with contemporary furniture, 49-inch flat-screen TVs and refrigerators, and the bathrooms will be redone in a more sleek palate.

The property also will add 36 Extended Stay Executive Studios and five Extended Stay Executive Suites, plus 5,000 square feet of new meeting space in the form of four breakout rooms. Marriott Rewards members will be able to relax in the new Marriott M Club Lounge.

The hotel’s restaurant is getting a new concept, to be announced; the fitness center will be enlarged, and an on-site market will be added. The work will be done in two phases, and the property will remain open throughout.
