RLH Orlando Kissimmee Maingate 8

RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) announced the company has officially opened the 516-room Red Lion Hotel Orlando – Kissimmee Maingate, located near the Walt Disney World Resort. The conversion of this property makes it the first Red Lion-branded franchise location in Florida.

The Red Lion Hotel Orlando – Kissimmee Maingate is located near Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney Springs and other area attractions.

“We appreciate the ease of the conversion process,” said Jeff Carter of Carter Hospitality Group, LLC., whose affiliate owns the property. “Now, we are able to offer guests the amenities of a larger brand, such as the Hello Rewards guest recognition program.”

“Orlando is a key U.S. market,” said RLHC senior vice president and chief franchise officer Brian Quinn. “This is an important location for our brand, our guests and our continued development on the East Coast, which now includes more than 1,000 rooms in Harrisburg, Jackson, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.”

The Red Lion Hotel Orlando – Kissimmee Maingate offers concierge services, a business center, multilingual staff, complimentary parking and Wi-Fi, and Angel’s Rock n’ Roll Café-Bar. Set on 23 sprawling acres with lush landscaping, stunning fountains, mesmerizing water views and community fire pits, the property has become a popular meeting space for engagement parties, bridal showers, weddings and receptions.
