Hand Picked Hotels puts Welsh manor hotel on the market

The Seiont Manor Hotel in Llanrug, Wales, is on the market for $3 million. Hand Picked Hotels is selling this and the Priest House Hotel in Derbyshire as part of a plan to focus on larger properties of more than 30 rooms.

Christie and Co was appointed to handle the sale. The property is petitioning for the use of an adjacent manor house, which will provide the hotel with seven additional guestrooms and five meeting rooms.

"Considering the quality of each asset we are confident these outstanding hotel businesses will attract competitive interest, particularly as new owners will be able to seamlessly take over and lead the hotels into the future," said Simon Stevens, director at Christie and Co,
