Historic Cincinnatian Hotel hits the sale block

The landmark Cincinnatian Hotel is on the selling block, reports the Cincinnati Business Courier. Local insurance company American Financial Group has owned the 146-room hotel since the early 1990s.

While no one at American Financial or the current GM of the hotel substantiated that the property is, indeed, for sale, the Business Courier cited a hotel employee, who said the company’s roughly 150 workers were told verbally last week that the property is for sale.

A sale price might be in the neighborhood of $30 million or more, the Courier said.
