Hyannis, Mass., conference hotel for sale

The Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis is up for sale, reports the Cape Cod Times. The 54-acre, 232-room property, which includes an 18-hole golf course, was bought in late 2007 by real estate company The Finch Group for $13.6 million.

The hotel was formerly the Four Points by Sheraton Hyannis Resort.

The facility includes about 31,000 square feet in convention and meeting space.

The Cape Cod Times further reports, citing the property's broker, Boston Realty Advisors, that about 80 ownership groups have expressed interest in the property in the past two weeks.

There is, however, no listing price for the property.
