Jurys Inn adds eight hotels to UK portfolio

Jurys Inn Hotel Group has purchased eight hotels across the UK for an estimated €51 million. The new hotels, which previously formed part of UK brand The Hotel Collection, will be located at Cardiff, Cheltenham, Inverness, Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, Oxford, Hinckley and an airport hotel beside East Midlands.

The purchase brings the brand's total number of hotels to 36 across Ireland, the UK and Czech Republic. The new properties will be rebranded to Jurys Inn by the end of November, and will undergo what FFT calls "extensive refurbishment" over the coming months, with a complete redesign of all guestrooms, lobby, bar and restaurant areas with new décor and furnishings.
