
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is set to manage a new hotel and branded residences currently under development in Beirut. The project is slated to open in 2018.
The hotel is under development by the Olayan Group, a Saudi Arabian multi-national group, with whom Mandarin Oriental recently jointly acquired The Hotel Ritz, Madrid.
The overall development comprises two adjacent buildings located in Beirut’s Central District in Lebanon’s capital. The Mandarin Oriental, Beirut will be situated in the south tower, with 280 rooms and suites and 25 serviced apartments. Singapore-based designer Kerry Hill will be the project architect.
