Marriott proposes new Towneplace Suites in Kanata, Ontario

Marriott International is looking to build a new hotel in Kanata, Ontario.

The proposed Towneplace Suites hotel at 1251 Maritime Way would be five stories and have 116 suites. The proposed development, which would have a little over 70,000 square feet of gross floor area, also includes plans for a surface parking lot with 133 parking spaces.

No zoning changes are required for the development but the city’s urban design review panel has asked the architect, Burlington-based Chamberlain Architect Services, to make changes to the design.
