New Aloft hotel opens in Buffalo, N.Y.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide launched its Aloft brand in Buffalo, N.Y. The opening of Aloft Buffalo Airport also marks Starwood’s debut in Buffalo and increases the company’s portfolio to six hotels in the greater Niagara region. Owned by Manga Hotels, the new Aloft has 153 rooms and a social atmosphere.

The hotel is less than 15 minutes from restaurants, night clubs, art galleries and theaters in downtown Buffalo, and 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. Also nearby are the shops and restaurants at the Western Galleria Mall, Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo Museum of Science and First Niagara Center.

The guestrooms at Aloft Buffalo Airport include the Aloft bed, Bliss Bath amenities, a 42-inch LCD television and a plug & play station for electronics. In addition to the brand’s W XYZbar, hotel amenities include Re:fuel by Aloft – a one-stop, grab-and-go food and beverage area, an indoor Splash pool, 24-hour fitness center, 600 square feet of flexible meeting space, complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
