Park Hotel Group expands to Thailand and Indonesia

Park Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia with the launch of hotels in Thailand and Indonesia, two new markets for the brand.

According to Travel Daily Asia, the Singapore-based company has inked management contracts for two resort properties, both of which are set to open next year. "As our grow;s first hotels in Thailand and Indonesia, both of which are influential and growing markets that we feel is of strategic importance," Allen Law, Park Hotel Group's CEO tells Travel Daily Asia. "We're very excited to be entering Phang Nga and Bali; the former being a rapidly developing tourist destination is a stone's throw from the Phuket International Airport, while Bali remains one of Southeast Asia's leading tourist destinations."

Park Hotel Group currently operates a portfolio of 10 hotels across Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan. It also plans to add two more hotels in Singapore, with the Park Hotel Alexandra opening the second quarter of next year, and Park Hotel Farrer Park launching in 2016.
