Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham, U.K., completes $25M update

Ramside Hall Hotel, on the outskirts of Durham, U.K., unveiled a new wing of bedrooms, which follows on from the opening of its second championship golf course last year. This summer the hotel will also unveil a new spa alongside its existing facilities.  

The new Spa at Ramside – which is part of a $25-million development at the hotel – will  open this summer and has an 82-foot swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, six thermal rooms including a glass sided amphitheater sauna, fully equipped gym and two exercise studios.  

The spa will include 14 treatment rooms, a relaxation room complete with a balcony infinity pool, a beauty area including nail studio, a dark relax room with soundwave therapy and sleep pods and a Mud rasul chamber which can be enjoyed by groups of up to four people.

The hotel has 130 guestrooms and a selection of meeting and conference rooms, which can range from 30 to 500 delegates plus a marquee that is erected throughout the summer months which can seat 200, and can be extended to accommodate 2,000 people.
