Waramaug acquires La Quinta Inn & Suites in Bonita Springs, Fla.


Waramaug LS Hotels, LLC announced the purchase of the La Quinta Inn & Suites Bonita Springs/Naples North in Bonita Springs, Fla.

The four-story, 87-room property underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2012 and consistently outpaces its competitive set receiving consistently excellent traveler ratings. The hotel ranks in the top 2 percent nationally in the La Quinta system and enjoys top ranking in the local market by TripAdvisor. La Quinta Franchising recognized the hotel in 2012 with the Outstanding Renovation of the Year award.

“Bonita Springs is a compelling market with opportunity for continued growth in the short and long term,” said Craig Nussbaum, senior vice president, Waramaug LS Hotels. “We see strong upside in this asset and plan on implementing an aggressive marketing program to maintain its competitive market position while continuing to increase revenues and profitability. Twenty Twenty Hospitality will continue to manage the property.”

The property is located five miles from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico beaches and abundant shopping. Top rated beaches minutes away include Barefoot Beach and Bonita Beach. The Dog Beach and Lovers Key State Park are within nine miles of the hotel. Local attractions include Everglades Wonder Gardens, the Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound track, and the Naples Zoo. The hotel is located within four miles of the North Collier Medical Center, Bonita Bay, Bonita Bay Medical Center, Pelican Landing and the future home of the Hertz Headquarters office.
