Waterford Hotel Group, one of the nation's leading hospitality companies, has added five hotels to its portfolio year-to-date. The addition of the five hotels brings the firm’s portfolio to 28 properties and more than 3,800 rooms, representing a diverse portfolio ranging from independent inns to full-service hotels and convention centers.

“We have successfully executed our 2015 growth strategy to date and anticipate continued progress in the coming months,” said Rob Winchester, president and COO. “We are honored that the varied ownership groups have chosen Waterford as a partner and look forward to enhancing the value of each of these assets through our extensive experience and expertise.”

The new additions to Waterford Hotel Group’s portfolio are:

The 161-room Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, Connecticut is conveniently located in Fairfield County business district and offers an indoor pool and fitness center, meeting space, as well as Courtyard’s Bistro.

The 124-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott and 74-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Milford, Connecticut. The two Milford hotels are adjacent to one another and conveniently located between Stratford and New Haven, with easy access to beaches, shopping and dining, as well as numerous nearby businesses. Both hotels will undergo extensive renovations.

The 132-suite Hyatt House in Windsor, Connecticut offers 132 spacious suites, a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, business center, complimentary full breakfast buffet, and flexible meeting rooms. This hotel represents the first Hyatt brand to join Waterford’s portfolio.

The 288-room DoubleTree Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas joined Waterford’s portfolio earlier in the year and will soon embark on an extensive renovation.
